Trey Songz Features Major Artists in New Album “Back Home”.
The Virginia artist, Trey Songz who’s been very active on the Nigerian #EndSars movement (A movement against police brutality that has been eating up the country’s youths) in last few days decided to slip an album through for his fans.
It is evident that Trey has had a productive 2020 when it comes to music. Back in April, the singer put up a couple of his old mixtapes on streaming services to his fans’ delight. Then he linked up with Summer Walker for a song called ‘Back Home‘ which would end up being the title track for his next LP.
Tonight, the album is out worldwide. Trey says he wanted to make the kind of R&B that inspired him to start doing music in the first place when he was just a teenager. On the LP, Summer Walker, Ty Dolla Sign, Swae Lee and Davido appear across a hefty 23 tracks.
A couple of days ago, Trigga revealed that he had tested positive for Covid-19. “I’ve taken many tests as I’ve been out protesting, food drives, of course I have a very young son at home, so I get tested periodically and this time it unfortunately came back positive,” he said in an Instagram video. “I’ve always taken it serious, and if you come into contact with COVID, please do the same,” he added, encouraging fans to wear masks and wash their hands frequently.
